Here's part of the story from that day:
...on how K8 got her hands on the ULTC autographed poster:
August 20th, 12 Galaxies, the Chruch lads are scheduled to turn up to discuss their participation in the movie Shriek. After the Q&A's the organizers hold several raffles for things like books, CDs, posters, etc. I won a science fiction short stories book (way cool) and Kate won the poster. She was very excited and headed over towards SK for some Q&A of her own.
(K8) Did you paint this?
(SK) Yes
(K8) Who's this? (pointing at Tim)
(SK) That's Tim
(K8) Why did you paint his hair like that? (pointing to Tim's depiction)
(SK) Because his hair was long at the time.
(K8) Who's this? (pointing at Peter)
(SK) That's Peter
(K8) ...and this is Marty, right? Why did you paint him smiling?
(SK) I dunno, I just did
It was a 2 minut quick fire question and answer episode and although it may read like it SK wasn't being a smart ass about any of it.
